Age Of Electric

So, I managed to get Age of Electric's "Make a Pest a Pet" from the library, it sounds pretty cool. Anybody else ever heard of them?

 

If you haven't, Ryan Dahle from Limblifter does the vocals, and Kurt Dahle from the New Pornographers (this is before both those two bands formed) does the drums. It's got a really nice sound to it, makes for a really solid album.

They sound just like Limblifter. But in a good way. I remember they had a few good songs several years ago, but now I can't remember what they were. "Ugly" I think?

 

One time I saw Todd Kerns on the city bus. He's friggin' tall.

It's funny, I was thinking about the Matt Good/Age of Electric connection, since we've seen both forms of the band that split into their own bands (Todd Kerns-Static In Stereo, Dahle-Limblifter) do work with Matt (Todd backing vocals on Born to Kill, Dahle very recently). Yep, that's all I got.
