I really enjoyed the Dears when I saw them open for Matt in 2003 at the Joint in Edmonton. Equally impressive was seeing them unload their own equipment from the van they travelled to the show in. Now THAT'S rock and roll.

He sounds like a cross between Morrissey(The Smiths) and Damon Albarn (Blur).

You've probably not heard the artists I'm referring to. Few people have. The resemblance in the vocal style however to The Dears is uncanny.
