I've been trying to think of their name for like a week now and I just clued in lol

I used to really like these guys in high school. Are they still around? "Good", "desperately Wanting", that was all fun stuff.

For some reason somone gave me a TAPE of "Friction Baby"

 

Needless to say I threw that out a long time ago but it was good music. Just crappy format

I can't believe you'd call Queens of the Stone Age "cookie cutter rock" (see here) but you actually like this band. My suggestion that you check out their Rated R record or their latest effort Lullabys to Paralyze and compare it to that "King of New Orlean" song anyday.

I fucking love BTE. I've seen them like 5 times, and they are always hilarious live. They've got a greatest hits sort of thing coming out soon, if you're interested.

Good, A Lifetime, King of New Orleans all great songs.

 

this band is even better since i have a friend named Ezra, which results in many jokes.

If you actually decide to read what I typed (I suggest it, it tends to help you from looking like an idiot) all I said was I had been trying to remember the name of the band for a week or so now, and that KONO is a good song. Never said that I like them as a band overall.

I don't think that is a fair comparison. They are both good bands, in different ways.

Vertical Horizon kinda sucks though, in my humble opinion.

Better Than Ezra just reminds me of a lot the bands back in the 90s, nothing standoutish, but nothing really miserable either... just kinda middle of the road

The live Cd is great, its live at the house of blues in new orleans. for any BTE fan i suggest it
