a friend brought this to a party and we watched this

 

VERY COOL MOVIE!

story is good, not GREAT, but makes more sense than most plots

it is worth maybe a 4-5th watching, but either than that, you'll just want to fast forward to the cool "GUN KATA" parts

I had to watch it a couple times to get everything. The idea behind the story is pretty cool, but I don't know if it was represented as well as it could have been. Hmm, what else... oh, it had good shooting scenes...

Actually I've never fully read it. From what I know though I'd say it's a good adaptation. It makes it sexier.

This movie has the best gunfights I've seen in a movie. Yes I include the Matrix movies in this as well as the Gun Battle in Hot Shots: Part Duex.

I just read that the only shot in the movie I thought looked fake (the one where he does a back flip off the bike then shoots the two guys int he face) was actually real. Real as in it wasn't computer animated or anything, and they didn't even use strings, just old school trampoline.

Too bad about low budget... ending was a little butchered... with specific reference to cut off face that looked really cheap.

i enjoyed this movie.

 

i used to have a rental place by me that had a lot of unknown movies in it, and this was one of them. i rented it on a day when i felt i needed to see shit being blown up. i wasn't expecting a good movie either, but i lucked out.

i'm shocked this movie was never released in theaters. i suppose it could have been, i but i don't recall it was. Seems like lots of folks enjoy it.

It made it's profit overseas, so they didn't bother releasing it theatrically in the states, because they were afraid of losing money on it...
