i tried to love it, chuck. i tried to like it. i almost had myself convinced. it's not terrible, compared to stuff by other people. compared to his entire back catalogue (sans remix albums), it's pretty fucking weak. non-entity, the newest thing i heard from him before this came out, is better than the whole new album.

agreed. if it's just 'passable', why not throw on the downward spiral, or one of his other 'more than passable' albums when you wanna hear nin?

yes I do listen to it. By passible, I mean that it's got enough good tracks on it to make it worth listening to from time to time.

Well, Year Zero is not one of the worst albums... there are some good songs in there... at least, some that I like and listen to from time to time...

That's what I'm saying...The best discs in the world are the one's that you can listen to beginning to end everytime you put them in play. While Year Zero isn't one of those discs, it still has a number of good tracks on it that are worth listening to.
