i dunno about favorite..its kinda hard to choose and not have it be ASR.

i guess a few good ones were

The Stills-Still in love song

Strokes- Reptilia

FF- Take me out

Muse- time is running out

i think those were all '04?

Yes, in Spanish it's spelled that, but both "catorce" and "quatorze" (French) sound esentially the same.

Spanish sounds like: ka-tor-say

French sounds like: ka-torze

I speak both so I can tell you there's an obvious difference.

As for best song of 2004... that's a tough call...

Poor Man's Grey- Matt Good

Midnight in her Eyes- Black Keys

Andy, You're a Star- The Killers

Take me Out- Franz Ferdinand

Zebra- John Butler Trio...

There are others.

John Butler Trio - Sunrise over Sea got really old really quickly for me. It wasn't nowhere near as good as 'Three'.

Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)

and am I the only one that thinks the new U2 album is derivative, boring, and a waste of time? I gave 'er a listen, and I couldn't find anything exciting or new on the whole thing...

Coldplay 2? Is Snow Patrol to be the new Silverchair?

I seriously can't remember anything that came out last year. All I can think about is Gwen Stefani's solo album, which I enjoyed.

Unless I can think of anything else, I'd probably have to say my favourite song to come out of 2004 would be "Bleed from Within" by the Music. I'll probably change my mind later, but I'm going through a mind block at the moment.

Cheers,

Grizz

EDIT: Already changed my mind to "Cessation" from the same album.
