Well, this is a link to a brand new song by System. Its called Cigaro and should be on hypnotize/mezmorize. I thought I would give everyone a chance to hear it. Apparently universal let it leak onto the net themselves just so it would start to get attention.

I think that the first album (caled "hypnotize") is coming out in march, and then the second album (called "mezmorize") will be out in July. Not totally sure on this one though.

system of a down has always had the most differently weird sound, to me.

 

i like it... soad is something i only listen to when in the mood, though.

 

speaking of which, where did toxicity go?

i don't care for it as much as Toxicity or S/T or STA for that matter, but it will take time....

 

You know, i love SOAD, but the 40-45 minute albums piss me off. I think it's an EP if it's not 50 min, and shouldn't cost $20+.

 

I will be very angry if Hypnotize/Mesmerize are two 40 minutes pieces. very angry will i be.

It was because they apparently had an insane amount of new material that wouldnt fit on just one CD, so therefore 2 are coming out, so I would imagine that the CD's are more than 40 minutes long. Dont quite know why the 2 seperate CD's though. Maybe the record label said no.

I love System of a Down!!!!! This song sounds cool, and it's not a song to be taken at face value (hardly any System song is.) It's not about actual male genitalia, it's about the arrogance of the Bush administration.

It would be dissapointing if it was released as the first single.

 

Seems more like a filler song. It would be a short single...clocking just over 2 minutes.
