Favourite/Best MG(B) Album

i voted for beautiful midnight. it was the first one i heard and the first one i owned. its my fave all around album mostly because you get something differn't out of it with every listen also you discover new things with it.

i think i feel that way about most of his music but beautiful midnight just sticks out in that department for me all the weird sounds and such

Yea BM for me. My favourite CD all the way through. The sounds are so different from track to track and the lyrics are great too.

I voted Underdogs. It was the first MGB cd I owned and I love it to death. ;)

I voted for BM, but it really was a toss up between BM, Underdogs, White Light, and Audio of Being... tough choice they're all great in different ways...

I really can't pick, it's a tie between Audio Of Being and Avalanche. WLRRR is also really good. FUCK!

*edit* Nothing can make me pick between AOB and Avalanche. They are both equally incredible. ;)

Yeah, Avalanche was pretty rad but WLR&RR was still too new for me heh.

Best album is Avalanch, I finally got what the band could never provide. Solitude thinking and producing. THe mixes sound so good and the strings, Keys all of it is awsome.

i had to vote for beautiful midnight. i LOVE the new stuff, but that album is just incredible to me.

 

EDIT: now i'm unsure......i think if i could vote again i would vote for avalanche, too. what a masterpiece. but then i do really like WLRRR......ah! this is too hard!

Whatever album is in my CD Player is my favourite.. you put in Underdogs and you listen.. and it's so awesome.. then you take it out.. and put in LOTGA.. and THATS your fave.. then you put in AoB.. and THATS your favourite.. so right now I'm listening to Underdogs.. so it's my favoourite right now lol

avalanche gets my vote. it blows me away every time.

 

although it's hard to really gauge an artist's work. especially when it's as good as matt's.

 

and i haven't really heard all of aob. but i don't think that makes my vote null and void.

Avalanche, hands down. It took Weapon to get me to finally buy a Matthew Good CD, and then inspired to buy the rest of his work. Avalanche is still my number one.

Theres something about "Loser Anthems" that is really haunting to me, particularly the last three tracks...So much angst i guess
