The House Of Flying Daggers

Er, basically what happens is in 9th century China, the Dynasty was very corrupt and there was a house/family fighting against that government. The government was always trying to kill members and leaders of The House of Flying Daggers. When a captain of the local police gets clues to discovering the leader, he and his partner use their only lead to find him, a blind girl named Mei. However, the plan doesn't go accordingly and people aren't always what they seem...

 

I just went to see it. I didn't know what to expect, not having seen Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Hero, but it was really well done.

 

Scratch that, actually. It was beautiful. I don't mind reading subtitles or anything, so that didn't hinder anything. The fighting and martial arts styling was beautiful and the acting was very good.

 

I do recommend it. Heartily.
