so i was on MiD

[Crusader]

So I was told that Hopeless is not country but in fact... rockabilly!

Smeg4brains gave me this link on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockabilly

yep he's right.

[Dan #1]

WOW ... that is so cool

never heard of that term before, i wonder if matt even knows what its called

[Lorien]

;) yeah no doubt! i guess the country term is usually assumed when the steel guitar is heard. for it is a popular instrument amongst country.

but rockabilly, interesting term

[juanpe]

ah, ok... yes, i had heard that term before ;) actually there's some sorta a "urban group" in Madrid who are called the "rockers" who like rockabilly and they dress some sorta Elvis Presley look...

[Claire]

Country is a surutilized term in music. And it's also pejorative from the young generation's mouth.

[HSteele]

How could you not know what rockabilly is? My friends have formed a rockabilly/ska band. Their new album is called 'Hillbilly Ska'.

[The_Rat_Who_Would_be_King]

So what's Empty Road?

[BritSavant]

[Dan #3]

Country/Folk hybrid?

[Lauren]

[HoboFactory]
