Not too bad but another should've been an EP album.

Polaris is #1 and the overplayed Pain is #2.

Thoughts?

In the words of teen girl squad... "Sooooooo Good"

I haven't listened enough to pick out my favourites for sure. Pain is awesome, and Drugs or Me always sticks with me.

I thought the album was pretty damn good. There isn't a track that I don't like. I think "Just Tonight...." "kill" and "Polaris" are the standouts on the album.

I think it was a good idea to download this one first. Should I delete all the bad songs?

I've only heard it once or twice since I bought it. Alright though...

i didn't like it as much as Bleed American, but it is decent.

"Polaris" is amazing and worthy of being a single/video (although JEW's videos tend to suck). That said, Futures is a solid album.

solid album indeed. I like how they didn't try and recreate what they did on Bleed...they really are just a band who wants to experiment and grow...and this CD was refreshing in that attempt.

I enjoyed the album...it wasn't break through, but worth picking up...."work" is probably my favourite track

everything's cheap when it's free

yeah thats a great philosophy- except not so much when bands like JEW make their cd's free so people will actually buy them and support the artists

I liked this one a lot more than Bleed American. Definitely a 'buy' album.

It's definitely a more slickly produced album than any of their earlier efforts (even Bleed American). Whether that works for you or not is a matter of taste. Certainly some great late-night kind of tunes on there, like the aforementioned Polaris. I have to mention Night Drive and the album-closer 23 as my two favorite tracks.

If you're interested in how the album evolved, I recommend getting the special edition, which includes a bonus disc with the the demo for each song that the band recorded themselves. It's nice to contrast the raw feel of the demo album (sort of like their early stuff) with the final product.
