I might....It would depend on how expensive it was. But I know it would never be in stores and I don't buy stuff over the internet, yet. Although it would be a great collection piece, I could say, hey look! I own a record!

My vinyl collection is bigger than my CD collection...

I *heart* vinyl. You come to love the inconsistencies of analog vinyl recordings...scratches and all. If an artist releases their work on vinyl, I make that my priority over any other release.

Vinyl is awesome. Owns CD's in every way except portabilty and price.

Also, i remember an interview or something with Matt about Loser Anthems, and how he intentionally put a layer of vinyl-like hiss under the whole thing and tried to give it a vinyl-esque frequency response to make it sound better.

yeah, novelty is the only reason. As much as I hate to say it, they are dead as are cds for the most part. I bought WLRRR, imported it and now it sits in my ipod. Ive listened to the actual cd twice. Am I happy about this, not really, but what can I do?

Vinyl is a better format in theory. The sound is stored in a purely analog format. That means when the sound is played back, the result is a pure sinusoidal function. Except for errors in the recording process, vinyl results in a more accurate reproduction of the original sound. I own the Avalanche vinyl and I would but a WLR&RR vinyl.

Peace
