I'm going with solo b/c I think there are more songs that hit me a little more than the old stuff.

Of course, now that I think about it, maybe not but I had to choose something!

Gotta go with MGB on this one.

Still love Matt's solo stuff, but at the end of the day I tend to fall back on the older CD's, especially Beautiful Midnight and Audio of Being. They're just classic...I don't think I'll ever get sick of listening to those two...

Gotta love MGB.

On a side note, I feel really sexy wearing my MGB Strikers long sleeve shirt.

MGB by far has way more top notch songs. Mind you that theres less than half as many solo albums, so I should be able to really judge in about 4 years, lol.

It's probably just that he has put out more CDs with MGB that I choose them. Beautiful Midnight is slightly greater than Avalanche. Then when you take all of the great hits that MGB had, there is no way you can compare WLRRR to it all.

However, I think Matt is a better songwritier now, and his music has more variation.

As long as there will be more MGB than MG stuff, the band will always win. The ratio quality/quantity is there to prove it.

As The Man said, let's judge it in 4 years !

a couple of months ago i would have definately voted mgb because the songs off beautiful midnight really hit me hard....but after hearing songs like blue skies, can't get shot in the back and dusk, i think i'm going to vote for mg. those songs are so incredible....whenever he played can't get shot at the shows i went to this year, it felt like my heart was going to explode or something. emotions are hard to descibe i know.....but cynthia will know what i'm talking about ;)

Between Matthew Good or Matthew Good Band - that's a tough decision. The thing I liked about Matthew Good Band was the kickass bass riffs aswell as a heavy focus on drums. However, with Matthew Good it seems a lot more melodic (at least in Avalanche)....so I'm gunna have to say Matthew Good
