It'll be really interesting to see if this gets off the ground at all. It does have potential...

But talk about increasing the the fizure(sp?) in the states,,,

the re-election is what has provoked: exactly that huge gap between the "two Americas", something that has gone even higher after Bush's re-election...

I dunno but I belive one of the major reasons why protestors have been limited in their access over the last few years has less to do w/ trying to silence but more to try and stem the rioting that we've seen in places like Geona and the WTO meeting in the US.

The US bill of rights states "Congress shall ... abridging ... the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

The key word the protestors in the last few years has seemed to have missed is PEACEABLY.

(note the ... are taking out other protected freedoms that dont apply to free assembly"

But if this idea is carried out as they state and it is done so peacefully it would be a powerfull statement.

you know what? I'm gonna get a "blank" t-shirt and I'm gonna have that image and those words printed on it and wear it here in Spain... I know i cannot attend that protest day in January but at least I will be showing my rejection against Bush and his administration

Since people can't get into these things wearing anti-bush shirts and what not, why don't they wear blank white t-shirts and then when they get in pull out a couple magic markers.

I hope this turn your back on Bush thing works out, it would be awesome.

Unfortunately, it is undemocratic to suppress all protest since some people are unable to conduct them selves. Mentally diminished people are incapable or a lot of tasks, but does that forfeit their rights? By the same token, some people are incapable of peaceful protest, but should that forfeit others rights to protest?

Peace
