Different 'AoB' Versions

I own white, although I've seen gray ones floating around. I haven't seen a black one for a while.

I also own white, i saw a black on in a used record store the other day though. Well the front leaflet was missing but the back was black. Didn't the black version come with the lyrics?

I believe that the black versions came with the lyrics for all MGB songs released, and that they only made 50,000 copies of it.

i was just checking out ebay, the black version is not all that expensive(at the moment) if you really want to get one.

Ditto the person above. I didn't realize I had a rarer copy with the lyrics. Shitty that I travel so much I can't take my cases with me, I'm not even sure where it is right now... I know I ruined my Avalanche case somehow... ah well fortunatly I'm not too into collecting... I guess ;)

What it was, the first 50 000 copies had a cardboard package, a cd and a booklet with all mgb lyrics inside a box.

I seem to remember there was a small paragraph in there as well by Matt saying how it was a shameless gimmick to sell more albums... and for some reason something about most of that old music sucking as well.. that right?

I wanted black, but I ordered from hmv.com and i randomly got grey. Then it was stolen whilst inside my discman, so i ordered another from hmv, and got grey again! so now i have 2 greys with the ltd ed box/booklet.

 

btw fyi, all of the outer box/booklets are black.
