What is everyone's opinion of the new Collective Soul song "Counting the Days"?

 

I heard they had to finance the realease of this track themselves, as no record company would put any money in for it.

The only place I've heard it so far is on the Fox in Vancouver... I've looked so I could try and post a link, but I can't find anywhere where it is previewed... Maybe it's too soon.

Haven't heard it. I can't really expect it to be that great, or, as good as they were.

I am a fan, but this one just didn't do it for me, and from what I've listened to from the rest of the album, I don't like too much. Where did the crunchy guitar riffs go?
