I didn't see that many this year, but my two favourites were Collateral and Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.

[battlecry forever!]

closer.

eternal sunshine was a beautiful film, but boring in places.

[dmac]

The Incredibles, easily.

Definately Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind! I thought it was absolutely amazing, not only the story, but the visual effects.

Plus, I had been debating weather or not to dye my hair blue, and after I saw the movie, I just did it.

Kate Winslet should win best actress.

My personal favourite is Shaun Of The Dead, but i'll have to say Eternal Sunshine.

[random guy #4]

Spartan was a flippin amazing movie.

Val Kilmer was right one cue man.

This is one movie that really didn't get the attention it deserved.

I picked it up for like 6 bucks at blockbuster, fantastic deal.

Shaun of the Dead was great.

[suburbanite]

hands down,

Hotel Rwanda

[Ravenous itchy]

Shawn of the Dead... lol

My friends dragged me to see that at the theatre. It was funny, but definately not worth my $9 or the movie of the year.

[sodamntired]

Shaun of the Dead was funny, but I don't think best of the year.

I actually really liked Alfie.

[savepenguins]

There are so many movies I have yet to see!

I'm sticking with Eternal Sunshine out of the ones I have seen, though.

Shaun of the Dead was dumb-funny.

I say Primer was the best movie of 2004. I mean, it was shot for $7000 and it's simply incredible. I've seen it twice and I still don't fully understand how it ends.

I don't think any movie has blown my mind quite as much as this one did.

Eternal Sunshine
