No one here really seems like like old music really, but are there any Neil fans here?

 

If so, what are your favorite albums?

Neil young is a musical genius. I really like "ragged glory" to be honest. i listen to it all the time. I am a fan of really old music too though. Pink Floyd, Rolling stones, Led zepplin, Tom Petty, and the list goes on...

You should check out On The Beach

 

it was only released to c.d this year, but it was made in 1974

 

its fantastic.

I've never bought an album of his, but i would in a second if he put out a career spanning greatest hits! Rockin in the Free World, Needle and the Damage Done, Southern Man, Old Man... all fabulous songs!

there is a 2 c.d "greatest hits"

its called Decade

 

there is a new one disc greatest hits that is comming out to.

 

however, greatests hits are for old ladies.

I think his career highlight was stealing a truck at woodstock with Jimi Hendrix. Id be quite proud of that myself

I love Neil Young! I grew up listening to him and all old stuff: Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Hendrix. I don't think I even realized newer "mainstream" music existed until I was in Junior High. (and I wish I never had realized it but then again, I never would never have ended up discovering Matt!)

I love Neil Young! Especially live (though never seen him live). He is a god on the guitar.

 

The only album i have is "Rust Never Sleeps".

Harvest is a really good CD, as mentioned above.

Anything he does is good. hes one of the few musicians that can be good for 3+ decades. Hes truly a legend
