7 Mary 3

I have this song...I think it came of Kazaa, I'm not sure. It was labeled, both fileneame and ID3 tag, as "Matthew Good - Divine Apathy". I can't find any mention of such a song, though it does sound kinda like him. A brief lyric search reveals it as "7 Mary 3 - Lucky" ...who I have never heard of.

 

Can I assume that Matt is in no way involved and this is all a coincidence, or am I missing something here?

That's not surprising really...if you happen to find it, download it...it's weird how much the singer sounds like Matt at times.

I keep finding a file called Liquid Tension (not sure if that is supposed to be the song or the band) that is always advertised as extremely rare Matthew Good. It's an instrumental song and it doesn't sound stylistically like anything Matt has EVER done. It irkes me everytime I do a MG search and it pops up.

Yeah, I had that one too...I eventually deleted it I believe.

I got the same file, the "Liquid Tension" one. I did a bit of research on it after I found it and got these results. It seems to be a three-member band that does instrumental prog-rock. Fits the bill for what the song sounds like, so that would be my first guess as to what it is.

I seem to remember the band 7 Mary 3 but I can't remember what they sound like... that will bug me...off to iTunes.
