I've never really been a fan of trilogies in their whole. I'm sorry, but Star Wars makes me sad in ways that I cannot explain.

Aliens was a trilogy, then they wanted more money. They fabricated a totally dumb story-line to justify a sequel. I would say that resurrected is more like a spin off.
