Anyone Here Like The Dears?

I remember Matt was either touring or endorsing them on his blog a while back.

I like them. Saw them open for him in Montreal last spring and then in NYC last summer.

they're alright... quite different from most other bands.

The Dears have their own unique style which i like in some bands

The Dears are awesome, i saw them opening for matt at a few shows. i also saw them in victoria once, but Murray definitely seemed like he was on something and it took away from the performance majorly

Given how much some people here seemed to love The Dears, I figured it was a band worth looking into. So now that I have the album, I think it wasn't.

I'm a fan, no cities left is an interesting cd. seen them 3 times live. It's worth a listen at the very least.

Have to agree with you about Wil. That guy blew me away on his guitar. As for the Dears, for some reason I just didn't enjoy their performace. I've never heard the album though, so maybe I would have a different opinion of them if I had a listen to the album.

The live CD is great. It sounds a lot different then "No Cities Left."
