Weyes Blood was super good. Natalie Mering is a great songwriter and has an amazing voice.

We can add Big Thief to my list of October shows. Considering going to see Pete Yorn.

  • Toque (with Todd Kerns), Grey Cup Festival Outdoor Tailgate - Nov. 24.  I hope they play Rush's "Tom Sawyer". That would be epic!

They did on Thursday here in Edmonton, so i'd assume so!

Cool!  I watched a March 2018 Youtube video of Toque playing "Tom Sawyer", and it's awesome.

Limblifter and Acres of Lions tonight! My fave local band and one of my fave Vancouver bands playing together is a dream duo. I'm honestly so surprised this happened but I couldn't be happier. Acres were fantastic as usual and Limblifter is just about to hit the stage now.

I'm seeing Matt on Sunday too which should be fun! It'll be nice to see him with a backing band again!

Then the day before my bday I'm seeing The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie with my dad. May is a very full and very good month for concerts haha.

Hope you enjoyed Limblifter! i keep bugging Ryan to come to Edmonton again, but promoters are jerks because the last time they came through was a terrible snow storm and didn't have the attendance the promoter wanted it to be.

I do have local band Scenic Route To Alaska next on Friday, May 10
Wheatus on May 12, super excited for this one!
Taking Back Sunday on June 8
Evanescence/Halestorm/The Warning Oct 20

Throw in some comedy nights too with
Jim Jefferies/Jimmy Carr on Sept 8
Pauly Shore Nov 16.
