I'm glad that Hurt Locker got best picture and best and first female director.

I am also stoked over the Hurt Locker winning best pic, and Bigelow winning best director. Great movie. Still sad about the lack of love for "Moon" though.

I recommend Moon to everyone I talk to, same with the Hurt Locker. Both are so excellent in their own ways. Sam Rockwell could've made a run for an Oscar if the Academy was aware Moon existed.

I think that they right films got the Oscars

and people didn't like this.

like when Crash beat Brokeback Mountain

just like how Hurt Locker beat Avatar

brokeback shouldn't have won best picture, it should've won best actor for heath though. his joker was pretty shitty imo. also i thought avatar was shit and i really like sci fi too.

Brokeback was a great flick, but Crash was better. Ledger was excellent in Brokeback, but just brilliant as the Joker. Ya Avatar was a real piece of shit and i also love sci-fi.

 

The Oscars were boring this year but they did well to keep the thing at 3.5 hours, usually its even longer....snore. Thought Steve Martin and Baldwin were really funny. k mostly Steve Martin.

I thought Ledger's Joker was amazing, so amazingly true to the comics. I thought Hurt Locker was totally the most deserving film. Having seen it twice now, I'm impressed as all hell by it.
