so what would the ultimate concert be for you?

any band now and then.

my choice

'98 Matthew Good Band Opens

followed by '98 Refused

then '77 Sex Pistols, pre Glen Matlock leaving.

then an encore featuring Johnny Rotten and Iggy Pop

so what would you like to see?

Bring me back to the 90s...

Moist, MGB and Econoline Crush on the same bill... maybe throw in some Edwin era IME

or

Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, AIC (with Layne of course) and STP on the same bill...

That would be surreal!!!

I would really like to see a reunited Genesis with Steve Hackett on guitar, Phil on drums, and Peter Gabriel on vocals.

I would love to see a grunge/alt rock fest featuring Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, QOSTA, and MG.

hopefully he tours again before he kicks it, or else i'll be pissed.

i believe he doesn't leave europe because of some sort of heart condition/illness of which i know nothing about

I'd really love to see Oasis on their "What's the Story Morning Glory?" tour, back when they were actually great.

Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath in the mid-70's would also be awesome.

There And Then... DVD, fucking great. Also, the Stop The Clocks version has Champagne Supernova live at Knebworth, now that was epic.

I don't get the obsession with Oasis... no offense or anything, I love their shit... but I saw them live once, and I thought the stage show sucked-ass.

Seriously, I would have been better rocking out to the tunes in my living room.

I'm sorry, but standing there, motionless for 10 minutes just expecting people to go wild does not make for a great concert... ;)

1994

Pavement

Green Day

Oasis

Blur

Matt Good - would have been cool to see him play his older stuff (it's been mentioned he played them live)

Manic Street Preachers.

that's about it.

that's how they are and always were. to each their own. i guess they think the music itself holds up against running all over the stage.

explosions in the sky, and fair to midland opening for nine inch nails. either the touring band for fragile or downward spiral. with some sort of crazy, extended encore involving all three jamming.

butt dumpling? did you just call me a turd?

another impossible fantasy concert: red sparowes opening for tool and 70s led zeppelin (not a reunited zep). an encore with maynard doing no quarter with zep.

It depended when you saw Oasis.

I saw Oasis in 1998 and that was much better than the 2009 show I downloaded.

How can you compare a show you went and saw to a show you downloaded?

Especially with an 11 year gap in-between. the whole band has changed since the Be Here Now Tour in 1998.

another great show..

The Animals / Cream / the Yardbirds / Jefferson Airplane / the Doors

all circa 1968.
