thought i'd give them a chance. been listening to this record for a few days now... it's not half bad. better than anything they've done recently. i really like how it has more of an "arty" feel as opposed to a stadium rock one. these are definitely not anthemic. they're subtly shaking things up, and it's commendable. not an amazing record, it still has its fair share of nonstarters, but one of the few decent albums to have come out this year.

hahha no i haven't, but by this time i usually have something that i'm completely nuts about.

 

yeah, achtung is a pretty good album.

I have heard three tracks, and they all fucking rock. I must have it now.

they're performing on letterman all week. last night they played "breathe," one of the 3-4 songs on the album that i like.

 

 

sounds a bit like the who.

It needs to grow on me. I was spolied by the genius of Actung Baby and the Joshua Tree.

Actung Baby and Joshua Tree are by far, hands down their best albums.

 

No Line on the Horizon isn't too too bad. Not the greatest in the world, but better than their last 2 albums
