Help With Vista

I am having a hard time getting vista to recognize my iPod, I have iTunes installed, how do I fix this problem.

I just totally synced up my Ipod all over. It only took 15 minutes.

nothing is wrong with the iPod, vista won't let me sync to it, and i want to figure out how to make it sync.

when was the last time iTunes updated? and did you restart your computer after it?

i will try and reinstall itunes and see if that fixes the issue. if not, i will just use my old xp laptop for music.

I would make sure you have the newest version, that your machine is updated. I would also make sure that your iPod has the newest version of the OS.

 

If none of that works, can you send me the details of your setup (version of vista + bitness, version of iTunes, type and generation of iPod, version of iPod software). The iPod should work with vista if your USB isn't broken, so it would be worth investigating.
