Elsiane: Really Chill Portishead-like Mood Music

I'm sharing this band because I'm really enjoying the style, and I figured a lot of people here would really dig it as well. Some of you will probably hate it, but hopefully one or two people discover this awesome band. The entire album is in this eerie sort of style and is quite good.

When I saw with more strings and a weird vocalist I thought you we're talking about Sigur Ros.

Now that's mood music.

Sounds like a higher pitched Ellen McLain (person who sings "Still Alive" at the end of Portal).

That's a bit unfair ...I don't capitalize the 's'.

 

I did listen, but I didn't really like her voice - it fluctuates between alright/annoying.
