30gb Zunes All Died Today

So apparently anyone who had their 30GB Zune connected to their computer last night is now the proud owner of a brick.

 

Do any of you but J actually own a Zune?

a friend of mine was complaining on new year's eve that his zune got bricked on the update...

 

but apparently it's been fixed or something because his 30 gig baby is working again.

 

how did microsoft let this get released? don't they test this stuff?
