Nf Chat Room

Someone wanted a chat room back up a few weeks back. Are you people still up for it?

 

I'm gonna try and setup a small IRC server but it's gonna cost me at least an extra $5.99 US a month for the shell so I need to know if it's worth it.

 

It would be at another location so it won't go down whenever the forum has a "Server Too Busy."

And yes there will be an applet or some form of web access for people who don't know how to use IRC.

but some sort of hub to upload stuff might not hurt...especially for the guys that put all the concerts together.

hopefully not like that but yeah irc is totally misunderstood. the whole hub was basically a dcc relay which was popular basically because of irc lol.

 

but yeah if none of you are going to use it then i guess i won't bother spending on it.

a RSS feed might be handy, but i don't know if anyone else would use one or if it'd be hard to do.

No, a chatroom is like AIM or MSN Messenger but everyone is in the conversation at the same time, so you're typing to peeps in real-time.

 

Anton i would not use the chat, save your $$$
