yesterday I heard something like Alberta has a minimum wage of around $5.90? That's gotta suck. Nunavut has the highest, at $8.50.

Ontario is veiwed as important because we have a lot of big business here. But even though Ive never been to BC, Im under the impression its better. Seems to be more laid back so the people say, more drugs/hippies, im quite partial to these things.

Yes, here in Alberta the minimum wage is $5.90 (what a rip off eh?)

Yeah, that's minimum for people under 18 in ON. I believe it's 6.85 for over 18.

Ashamed, or just not unionised...

 

That's what I started at. No union for me, and after 3 years and multiple raises I still only make about 15 cents/hour more than what unionised employees in similar jobs START at.
