A few songs stand out, notably "Last Flowers to the Hospital" which is about ten thousand times more T-T than "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" could ever be.

no one's mentioned the shins yet, so I guess I will. My list may seem limited but I only really listen to music that I buy (and I dont really buy a lot of albums due to the lack of a little thing called money), so I'm going from that:

 

The Shins - WIncing the Night Away

Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Ever Sank

The Arcade Fire - Neon Bible

Radiohead - In Rainbows

The White Stripes - Icky Thump

Matthew Good - Hospital Music

Looking at it now, Hospital Music is mostly a pretty forgettable album. I listened to it quite a bit for the first couple of weeks that I had it; mind you this was only like 4 months ago, and now I virtually never listen to it at all.

you people are weird. i quite enjoyed hospital music. i think some songs got tired faster because we had all heard them demoed earlier, whether live or through bootlegs.

Not true for me; I never bother with concert bootlegs, and very rarely with demos. The only song I've heard before getting the album is Black Helicopter. But then, I don't listen to a whole lot of MG/B at all anymore.

 

I've switched over to Matthew Ryan, which I think is a better Matthew.
