I was hoping for Dala because we got Melissa McClelland that one time, but looks like they have a show in TO that night.

i'll be there... but i've got no idea who is going to be playing with him. hopefully no one, then we can have a longer set. but that's not going to happen.

(In all fairness I was there for like 26 hours last time, and we didn't have a car, so all we saw was basically strip malls between the hotel and the club)

Ya, Club Infinity's location is sort of good and bad. I like it because I don't have to drive to the city and it's relatively close to where I live.

 

But it's surrounded by completely boring things. 'Cause it's not technically Buffalo, it's the suburbs.

 

Also, yeah. Buffalo is a notorious drinking town.

BTW- I know one of the guys from the other band (not Blue Jimmy). I was surprised when he told me that no one in his band had even heard of Matt Good- don't know how they got the gig, but obviously, it wasn't through Matt or his people.

 

That's the problem with club owners booking local openers- no sense of continuity. It was painful to watch.

Ok so I called Infinity, and from what they said they were not aware of an opener for the show.... can anyone confirm this? and also, if there isn't with doors opening at 7 any idea roughly that Matt will get started? thanks!

It'd be pretty rad if there was no opener and he started at 7 and played all night. (In my dreams?)

 

But musicians are always late... I'm assuming he'll start at 8 probably if there's no opener.

So what's the deal....my flight arrives early in the morning...am I gonna get to the club and just see a big line outside or do most people show up around 7?

My flight arrives around 11:30am...I'm planning on taking a cab straight to the club.
