I play guitar and piano. I've wanted to learn how to play the violin for a while now...but I don't know where to begin. Buying one, perhaps? :b

That would be a good start Joe, you're such a good guitarist, I would be surprised if you didn't pick it up quickly.

Both my parents are quite musically inclined and were perticularly persistant with teaching me how to play the guitar. The thing is, if I can't pick something up right away, I get angry and give up.

 

And that's just how it is.

Like any project of mine, I'd start but never finish. I just know that guitar or whatever I would buy would just sit in my closet for years.

My mom is an amazing singer, and grandmother was an amazing pianist and singer, before her athritis got so bad..
