I'm running Ubuntu Linux right now and it's quite good. But it's not as friendly as Windows or Mac OS and it's quite boring me right now. Not only that, I'm even using a software that allows me to use Windows applications such as Office (because OpenOffice is not the same at all), Photoshop (because I can't stand The Gimp) and Grand Theft Auto Vice City. Given that I have a PC, I can't use Mac OSX (not legally anyways) so that's out of the question.

Anyhow, my PC came with Windows Vista. I don't hate it at all except for the over-bloated and annoying security measures. But I also have Windows XP.

I can't decide whether I should keep my Linux, go back to XP or Vista.

What do you think?

Well you can disable the overblown security in Vista if that's the only problem you have with it...aside from it being Microsoft...but if your bored it might be time for a change. Just make an image of the Ubuntu setup you have now incase you want to revert back to it later on.

That's already done! ;)

Actually I have an image of a fully working Vista installation and XP and Ubuntu. I'm very careful with these things

So? Why the question...switch and if you don't like it switch back. lol

I back up the data I want to keep so I don't bother backing up, I haven't changed my OS settings in a while anyway. When I build my pc I"ll make an image of it for sure tho

Well the question is because I think I'm going to drive my wife crazy lol ;)

Yep, she's partly why I use Office on my Linux installation

I hate dual boots...I need only one OS ;)

And SP1 is due out soon so, I think I'll install it anyways
