They may have fixed that problem with the new one...I though the next album was almost good. I played Generator at wedding rehearsal dinner, with a few friends...it's a kick ass song, so was Stacked Dead Actors.

Loads of good ones mentioned by Pearl Jam, except probably the biggest one for me, 'Present Tense'. Missed a couple:

Smiths - Asleep, Well I Wonder, That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore, Accept Yourself & Back to the Old House.

Verve - On Your Own, No Knock On My Door, The Drugs Don't Work & Weeping Willow.

Alice in Chains - Down in a Hole & Nutshell.

Wow Dan, that's an awesome list, especially the Mother Love Bone track.

Also:

Europe - Carrie

Slaughter - Fly To The Angels. (I was in a band in college, and we used to play this cover as part of our last set, it was right after an ex-girlfriend, who I was still pretty close to, died in a car accident. I used to cry all the way through it, so bad that I had trouble singing...but it was the lead singer's favorite song.)

Poison - Every Rose Has It's Thorn

Tesla - Love Song, Hang Tough, Stir It up, Had Enough, What You Give, Freedom Slaves.

Thats cuz Crown of Thorns is one of my top ten tracks of all time, it always gets me going.

Damn Charles, What You Give, I totally forgot about that one, one of the best for sure.

Edit: December, World I Know, Shine - Collective Soul

I feel the same way about Crown of thorns. I was lucky enough to see Mother Love Bone, before Andrew Wood died. That song was a fitting eulogy.

Change of Season, Born To Kill, House Of Smoke and Mirrors...have a pretty amazing effect.

I knew someone would remember that Tesla Song. It's a pretty good one.
