  3. Just got the Tears For Fears greatest hits album, and I must say, it's quite spiffy. Tears For Fears - Head Over Heels
  4. Yeah, same. It's bullshit. I refill stuff anyway, and no one ever says anything, even though there's a sign right on the drink thing that says "65 Cent Refills."
  5. Just my home phone. Cells are needlessly expensive when everyone ELSE has one. I can always just use theirs.
  6. And I thought I was the only one. I also thought Alzheimers disease was really old timers disease. Hahahhaa meeeeeeeeee too. And I also thought that the alphabet was a b c d e f g h i j k ellamenno p
  7. yeah those are T-bar raises.there are machines for that.well, a platform and a spot to load weights. that was my favorite back exercise by far. I loved that thing, always felt it. But they got rid of it to make space for something else. Yeah, it's awesome. It doesn't hit your lats very much, but that's fine because that's why you do pulldowns. It does hit all of the middle of your back, which is hard to target with most other excercises. Also, military presses have sort of plateaued for me, what are some other good delt strength excercises?
  8. Yeah, dips have been giving me retarded results lately. So are plate raises! Grab a 25 plate to start. Hold it in both hands, and then raise it (slowly) to eye level. You should be able to see through the hole. You should feel it in your shoulders. Do NOT use momentum, as this is a very easy excercise to cheat on, but when done properly, it gives a great pump. An excellent back excercise: 1.Get a barbell and load up one side with desired weight. Leave the other side empty. 2.Put it on the ground 3. Straddle it, and bend the knees slightly, making sure to keep your back straight 4. Grab the weighted end. Your hand should be between your legs, and when you pull the bar up, it should be as if you're pulling it towards your groin. 5. Repeat with other side. And Rabbit is dead on about the pushups. They even work your abs to a small extent!
  9. I've always felt like Rabbits was superior to Avalanche. Of course, I also think that SOAPS is miles ahead of both of them, so maybe I'm just crazy.
  10. No, he's got a point. Most threads on this forum are questions which have already been discussed in depth. Edit: In fact, I remember one on this very subject where someone posted an MS Paint picture they drew about a guy with 'taco bell shoes.'
  11. When I was a kid, I thought volleyball was called ball-y ball.
  12. Everyone always complains about prom and talks about how they didn't go. I had a delightful time at mine, and Meg, I'd reccomend going. The amount of enjoyment you get out of it is entirely up to you. If you make it fun, it'll be fun. Plus, afterparties are always amazing.
  13. Yeah, I agree with most of your points. She sings a lot better live for some reason than on these recordings, and they're all mellowed out. The climax of Well it Seems to Me is amazing. Listen to her belt out "it won't buy you anything but a greyhound tiiiiickkkkkeetttt....". In the recording, it's all leveled out, but when we were recording, she was like, screaming it and it was fucking amazing. I'm very VERY eager to get a recording done of a song we do called Lady Luck. It's very rock-ish, up tempo, plus I wrote the lyrics. Thanks a lot for your comments. ;)
  14. Ready? Once again, for those who missed my last thread, Lexicon Artist is: Dana - Vocals, Guitar, Piano, Trumpet, Tambourine Matt-Guitar, Vocals Owen-Drums and other percussion Stacey-Bass, Guitar, Piano Here is our myspace address where you can listen to the 3 originals we've recorded, as well as check out a few pictures from our first gig. Please please please lemmie know what you think, as we're desperate for some comments. Lexicon Artist the songs are: A Dog Named Happy: A really cool acoustic song. Nice highlight of Dana's voice. Noah: A very interesting and quirky song. I love the lyrics. Well it Seems to Me: We haven't put drums on this yet, as they take FOREVER with the program we're using. But it sounds really really good when it's rocked out a little. If you guys have trouble listening to the songs, lemmie know, and I can probably YouSendIt a few of them. I really hope you guys like us, please post some comments, questions, criticisms, etc. Edit: Also, if it's not too demanding of me, try to limit posts made on the myspace page, as most of the ones on it are from local fans, etc.
  15. Yeah, I had this weird symmetry thing too. I remember once I stepped into a huge puddle with one foot, and got my shoe and sock all soaked, and then did it with the toher just so I'd be 'even'. And back then, the robot would win, cuz robots are amazing, but now we know the car would probably take it.
  16. There's still no good explanation about Kadaj and stuff. SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!! Where the ehll did they come from? Yeah, they're 'remnants', but what the hell does that mean? Also, how does sticking Jenova's head into his chest turn him into Sephiroth? It jsut doesn't really make sense. Finally, why would Rufus reveal that he had Jenova right with him?
  17. Ouch, that sucks. It could be worse, but still, student loans suck. Good luck man.
  18. They're alright. Not revolutionary, as many have said, but they have some fun tracks. 'When the Sun Goes Down' is actually a very solid song.
  19. I'll start it off with $40 Edit: actually, post pics
  20. Wow, that's amazing. Congrats man. How much bedt are you in (if any)?
  21. I love driving at like, 2 in the morning, seeing a red light, and just saying "I don't obey you" and running it. It's such a rush for some stupid reason.
  22. Wow. You're my fucking hero.
  23. You go to U of T? Meeeeee too
  24. Matt has said that Fine Art is one of his best songs lyrically, so that's what I voted for, though personally, I would do Can't Get Shot.
