I saw the killers play the commodore on their first big tour for Hot Fuss. Tickets were only $15, but I still don't think I got my money's worth. It was just boring. Oh, and I saw the Dears (Deers?) open for MG during the Avalanche tour. That was the biggest pile of garbage ever.

I would say that the live Dave Matthews cd's I have are some of the best albums I have. I can see the point of people saying they dont like his voice because it is different. I know it sounds like a cliche, but you have to hear his music live (even if its just the live albums) to really appreciate what great musicians these guys are.

While I'm still a big Matt Good fan, I suppose most of us need to come to the realization that he isn't a big name star anymore. I dont have any stats to back it up, but I imagine WLRRR sold less albums than Avalanche, which probably sold less than AoB with BM being the peak. Since WLRRR didn't have great sales Universal probably didn't push as hard with his Greatest hits cd, which of course leads to lower sales. Matt's commercial career is in the decline, but hopefully he continues to make the records he wants to make.

There are lots of good female singers, but my personal opinion is that female rock singers just sounds like they are trying too hard or something. I dunno what it is, it just sounds so forced. Women pop singers, country, opera, whatever... sounds just fine to me, but rock singers... i dunno. To me its no different than some people not like certain genres of music.

I thought the movie was really good - maybe a little too long - but it stayed very true to the book. hopefully they do some of the sequels.

I'm not sure where this show is going. i like it, but im wondering how many episodes I can watch before they gotta actually break out. which leads to this shows next problem: what happens to the show if they break out? anyway, ill continue to watch. one of the best new dramas this year for sure.
