I am tempted to go...but won't even though I haven't missed an MG show in 12+ yrs...not in love with summer festivals...will wait for him to come back on his own tour. Was a bit worried they might be all mature and make friends and in my fan-dream world David would come on stage with MG and play...haha If that EVER happened and I missed it...well we cannot talk about that....

They just announced a show here in Victoria BC Canada in July - a 2 day outdoor festival where MG is playing the same day as 54-40....I wonder if this is the 1st time David Genn and MG have shared a stage on the same day since the disintergration of MGB?

I had a conversation with MG once (recently) and he made it pretty clear his bread and butter comes from touring, royalties alone he makes what I do in a year and I can assure you I am not sitting high on the hog...record sales are shit now b/c everyone DLs so really the only way he gets ahead is touring and merch so I can understand why the prices will just continue to rise in most cases. I was not in love with last tours show so I really wanna get my ass kicked this year. ;)

Yeah this is the most I have ever paid to see MG...here in Vic it was a total of 69.50 - and yeah I will gladly pay it but not for too many artists anymore. Oddly the s/c was a mere 3.00 but it was not through ticketmaster (thank gawd) or they would have been more I am sure.

Yesterday - being oblivious the date July 5th - I went to the Royal Theatre website to fiddle around in the ticket area for the Nov 29 Victoria BC MG show...and guessed at presale codes for the live nation presale, guessed "endangered" and it let me in and purchase a ticket.....today I realize is the day they are supposed to go on sale...? No idea why it let me in to purchase one... Odd.

back in 1989 - 1990 Age of Electric used to be ELECTRIC and toured all the shittiest shithole bars across canada - we used to go see them at the Windosr in Red Deer AB and California Dreaming in New West BC...Ryan looked soooooooo cute with massive long ginger hair....they did Metallica covers and such hahaha SO AWESOME back then.
