  1. mrs jesus, Come to Canadaland and party with us cool guys.
  2. How often to you play guitar or practice? If you could learn to play a new instrument, what would be your pick? What is 32*62?
  3. What do you think is the biggest threat to world peace today? Is American foreign policy so engrained into their system that it doesn't make a difference which party holds office? If you had to live in another country other than Canada, which would you pick and why? Not a question at all, but an Acoustic tour would rock!
  4. You are a Social Liberal (73% permissive) and an... Economic Moderate (50% permissive) You are best described as a: Democrat You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness. This is scary... I'm a Democrat???? Sure I would have preferred John Kerry to beat Bush, but really, did they have to call me a Democrat??? I also found it interesting that I had the highest economic score of everyone else here who did the very scientific test.
  5. The Kwas has the best answer by far. Nice one!
  6. While it disgusts me that there are still people who make it their life's business to spread hate, I don't believe that a group should be shut down, or not allowed a road sign because of their philosophy. If they were killing people or in other ways directly hurting people this would be different. If this group was shut down what would happen to other groups with less popular ideals. Homosexuals would be a prime example from the US right now. Most Americans would agree that homosexuals have no right to marry, but does that mean that they should have the right to marry? It's a silly argument and the thoughts of nazi groups make me think of American History X.
  7. It's just the big boys club of school bullies. The few guys who have the nukes now don't want the other children to play with them. It's so childish. The US will probably do something direct with Iran, North Korea however will never be invaded. Unlike the rest of the emerging nuclear powers in the world, North Korea is the only one with the balls to use them, and everybody knows that.
  8. It's the same uptightness and redneckness that keeps people objectifying women. The day that people quit having hissy fits every time anyone, man or women, takes off their clothes will be then day that people will no longer be the objects. The prudes of the world need to chill out and relax a little. (not refering to anyone in this discussion, just a general comment on the small town, right wing, christian, uneducated, redneck americans.)
  9. It's really entertaining reading how worked up some people can get. It's also nice to see Matt back at what he does best. Why is it that some message boards can get just so crazy?
  10. Not a chance he's done. He doesn't have it in him. Or maybe he does have it in him. Damn I hate double negatives.
  11. How could this movie be unliked? It's the best of 80's horror mixed into a "buddy" movie and some comedy. Why not!
  12. Metallica was the biggest heavy metal band ever. Their legacy was great, and lasted long. But the last time I saw them in concert was in 2001 and they had become has beens. I'm interested in watching this dvd, but after they went into acoustic country songs for an oncore, everybody left.
  13. I went for years and years, but then I posted on this entry, but on the way I had a pop up and clicked it. Woops now I no longer hold the record for the biggest loser.
  14. In order to fully understand the movie, one must actually drive the real Mulholland Drive in the hills of Los Angeles. You have a new respect for just how wierd things can get. It's one of the longest roads around and it spirals up and around the Hollywood hills past mega mansions and through many curves and turns on the way to the ocean.
  15. mmmmmmmmm if the Quantum Leap rumour is true it will be a sweet day for all the geeks of the world. I was an underground TNG geek in high school. I loved the show, but i never wore a star fleet uniform to a school dance or to class.
  16. Here's my sweet ride. Rock On!
  17. Sign me up for the acoustic tour. I'm with James! I've been to the Performing Arts Centre in Vernon and the sound is amazing. Definatly a super show to take in. It was extra cool because I had a photo pass and could stand at the front of the stage (it was a seating only venue) for the first 3 songs. SWEEEET

    Gmail?

I haven't looked into this so call Gmail. Why is there an invitation process? Just for hype? I've long since abandoned hotmail due to their suckiness. Chad
  19. Here is the best article that I've ever came across on the music industry and "making it big". The Problem With Music by Steve Albini Posted by Steve Albini on February 06, 1998 "Whenever I talk to a band who are about to sign with a major label, I always end up thinking of them in a particular context. I imagine a trench, about four feet wide and five feet deep, maybe sixty yards long, filled with runny, decaying shit. I imagine these people, some of them good friends, some of them barely acquaintances, at one end of this trench. I also imagine a faceless industry lackey at the other end holding a fountain pen and a contract waiting to be signed. " See the Whole article at http://mitvma.mit.edu/~mhb/ALBINI.HTML Steve Albini Steve Albini outlines all of the costs and incomes for a band signing to a label. Later, Chad
