I have a Sattelite P30 that I absolutly love. The entire lineup is really good. The advertised battery times can be misleading, so make sure to try them out, or make sure that you can return the laptop if it's unsuitable.

I heard on my satelite radio a while ago, a version that was like a show tune or some Frank Sinatra version... Any ideas on who's it was?

You should definatly check out some of his stuff. It isn't really rhcp material, but it is worth the listen. Some of his drug induced stuff is insane. He played guitar over backwards guitar riffs and such. Check out a few samples on iTunes.

I'm still with Matt on this one. It can't be all shits and giggles for things to get set straight. We need to trim where required, and get our asses heading the right way. BC has the resources to be number one in Canada.

I don't think that the current government will last very long once the Gomery inquiry becomes public. However, I also don't think that we need an election right away. Elections are very costly and until everything is sorted out and the public demands an election, it would be a waste to call one now.

I say that Family Guy takes the cake on the other animated series. But everyone does have their own tastes. I'm still a big fan on the Simpsons, Futurama, and South Park.

I normally don't like to get into debates on politics, but I have to say that I'm with Matt on this one. It doesn't take a very long look to see how poorly the NDP have run this province in the past. The Liberals are the best pick in the coming election. Things have been wrong in this province for a long long time, and the liberals are taking the province in the right direction.

It's sad to think that people actually believe that rehab could actually change a homosexual into a heterosexual. I think some of these intervention type tactics probably just force the subject to go into a denial phase and pretend to be hetero. It's not a choice. And I don't think that the devil tongue is the indicator either, but I'm no doctor.

well here's my late introduction into the dabate. First of all, Canada will never, and you can underscore never, legalize pot. Treaty's have been signed with other countries and full legalization would cause serious trade problems with some of our major trading partners, mainly the US. What can, and I believe eventually will happen, is the de-criminalization of pot. This is the only way for Canada to allow people to smoke pot and not send them to jail without pissing off the rest of the world. If you notice the article posted on page 2 of this discussion, it mentions how the netherlands have de-criminalized pot. This basically allows users to grow or purchase very small amounts for personal use only. The government doesn't get a big tax cut, and they can't get a tax cut unless it is legalized, which it will never be. Laws will be changed so that Police Officers no longer have to arrest people who smoke and possess small amount of pot. People buying, selling or growing large amounts will be punished more severely. That's the way I see things. And I'm not even going to start into the smoking and driving debate.

I don't even need music to drink alone...

For me it was Everything is Automatic. At first I thought it sounded a little too "alternative", but then it really grew on me. And there's been no looking back since.
