it also depends on the size of tv you want. pretty sure you can't even get a plasma that's larger than 42".

how is talking on a cell phone any different than talking on a landline? and while I agree that people do tend to put stupid and annoying shit in their msn names, I can still keep in touch with them, for free, even if they're on the other side of the world. could you have done that 10 years ago?
-
go here -> http://www.mgtabarchive.com/ pick out songs you like (who cares how hard they are), and as long as you're committed to it, you should pick up a few in no time. fortunately for beginners everywhere most of matt's stuff isn't that complicated.

I'd say that at this point, encarf is just grasping at straws. dude clearly has no idea what a "typical program" requires.
-
actually, if you want a major work load, just take language courses. it's insane what some of the profs make you do.
-
it's obviously different for me, but I took all three OAC maths, all three OAC sciences, and only one english and one history. I dunno, it just raises my hackles when someone implies that I didn't work hard to get my degree. I realise that a lot of the jocks at guelph were in history or english, but by the time you hit the honours courses in fourth year, they've all been weeded out.
-
that's the problem I have all the time. all these engineers look down their noses at me, as though taking history and classics was taking the easy way out. truthfully though, you can't even compare the sciences to the social sciences/humanities. the things you learn in each are far too different.
-
that's complete bullshit though. edit: and it relies on what kind of job you're looking for. companies need people with degrees in the humanities just as much as they need engineers or scientists.
-
you know, that's about the most idiotic attitude I've ever come across. you really have no idea what goes into getting an honours degree in history (or another humanities/social science program), so how could you possibly comment?

sitting in class when the first plane hit, watching on TV when the second one hit. yelled "holy fuck!" in front of/with three teachers.

uh...as far as I know, some of the books in the new testament date to the period around the death of Christ. As a whole, the bible wasn't consolidated until quite a bit later, but whatever. of course, the old testament has been around for far longer... one more thing...I'd be willing to bet that quite a few people don't actually read the stories in the bible and believe that they're facts. When one reads the bible, one has to actually take the time and think about things for his or her self, i.e., you have to interpret things on your own. It's all the extremists (of all faiths) that take things as fact and really fuck us all over.

you guys are high if you don't think dookie is in the top 20. say what you will about greenday, but nearly every person I know had dookie for themselves, or had a sibling with it. based on sales alone it deserves to be there, especially when you consider that it was a huge mainstream success for an otherwise unknown band.

saw him play as Matt Good (not the band) at convention centre in hamilton, which has to hold upwards of 3 000 people. he also played event in the tent a few years ago in st. catharines in front of another 2 000 or so.

they played the ACC with moist once.
