I don't even go to theatres that have commericals anymore...I just couldn't take it. The local one in my home town had, literally, 20 minutes of commericals before the previews started...it was horiffic.
The filmmaker, who's name I forget, is a producer for NBC whos assigned to Bush's press corp during his 2000 run. 'Journies With George' is video footgae shot by her over her year-long stint in that job, in which she gets to Bush, and Bush gets to know her. It's extremely eye opening, no matter if you are pro or anti-Bush.

I just saw this in class today, and was blown away. I don't know it's availability (I know that it was shown on HBO in 2002, but that's about all) but if you get a chance to see it, I highly recommended it. The preview doesn't do it anywhere *near* justice.
no. she's right. a lot of people here drive on the wrong side of the road, most cannot distinguish a green light from a red or yellow so just go all the time, a lot of people here take stop signs as mere suggestions. and these are just the people on the road. One man near where I live likes to wander, every day, in the (very busy intersection of the) street wearing nothing but an open bath robe and a very floppy purple hat.
It's not funny, but my favorite one is from his Oct. 29, 2003 blog, after Steven died:
"I'm going to go and buy myself a bottle of something, find a nice quiet rock somewhere in the hills, and have one last drink with Steve. And then, my life having been made better by knowing him, I'm going to go and live it."
