Love you Dave...

I've been trying to find a (free) program that lets me burn ripped DVD's back onto DVD... I want to make trailers for movies for fun, and this is the only way I can think of that I can get the footage with decent quality into my final cut program...
-
Trailer. What do you reckon? I can't tell if it'll be awesome or a train-wreck.

Him Tarzan... him better without lines...
-
Okay... we're in circles here...
-
I'd rather marvel at the sheer scope of LotR...
-
You're forgiven... but it was close...
-
It's okay... looking back I forgot Seyomore-Hoffmann and Saarsgard...
-
I'm obsessed with Robert Rodriguez... and as such, I think it's his master-piece (though, to be honest there wasn't too much competition for that)
-
Daniel Day-Lewis; Meryl Streep; Robert Redford; Laura Linney; Tim Robbins; Patricia Clarkson; Mark Ruffalo; Emily Watson; Ralph Finnes; Jodie Foster; Morgan Freeman; Toni Collete; John Cusack; Shirley McClain; Robert Downey Jr.; Gwyneth Paltrow; George Clooney; Joan Allen; Nicholas Cage; Allison Janney; Jason Lee; Scarlett Johanson; Christian Bale; Cate Blanchette; Cillian Murphy; Amy Adams; Johnny Depp... this could go on for quite a while, so I'd better stop.

Yeah, that's pretty much where I was with this movie, too...

It's odd to think of the director of The Ice Storm making the Hulk movie...

One word that all will tell you: Hub.

There was a group of 5 or 6 people in front of me and my sister who we're both drunk and assholes (from the moment MG came onstage, they kept yelling 'APPARITIONS!!!'), but other than those people, I had no problems. I wasn't really fond of either of the opening bands (especially since I was so anxious to hear MG) but I clapped at the end of their songs and recognized how badly it must suck to be an opening act that everyone is just sitting thru, like the commercials before a movie.

I'm sure he just means the first one...
-
I've got 'Daddy's Got A Brand New Van', 'No. 9', 'Reprise', 'Slow And Low', and 'Subjugate Me'. Just PM or email me ([email protected]) and I'll send them to you.

On MG's site, it says he played Buffalo Seven (which would have made me chuckle) but he didn't. And there aren't any comments for the page, so...
-
Yeah... I was wondering about that, too.

I've just seen Heat and The Insider, and as such, I would like to state for the record that Michael Mann is a fucking awesome filmmaker... Not that his are necessarily in the greatest film of all time race, but I needed a venue to say how great MM is, and I chose this one... and I don't even care that I'm semi-off topic; so there.

RotK... and Apathy has stolen my avatar...

Indiana Jones and the Temple Of Doom.

Yep... that was me.

The setlist was: Man from Harold Wood plying thru speakers as the band came out. Tripoli (acoustic) Near Fantastica HTB ASR EIA Suburbia Avalanche O Be Joyful Load Me Up Blue Skies Weapon Apparitions (acoustic) Then they left. The crowd started the "K-I-C-K-A-S-S" cheer until it started playing the opening thru the speakers, then the band came out and played Giant 21st Century Living Advertising on Police Cars (acoustic)

I just got back (to my hotel) from it (my first MG concert). Can't write more, but will tomorrow night when I'm back in LA.

I imagine that you mean the Al Pacino one and not the original?
