It's a great movie... The editing it some of the best I've seen.

I just finished watching it... it was, it was really fucking good. The story was good and the actors, too, but the directing was just pitch-perfect.

I am completely in love with them right now...

Cutting back and forth between color and B&W I always find really unnecessarily distracting, unless it's used for the plot, like Pleasantville. I think a good movie is a good movie, color or B&W. I think it definitely evokes a time period very quickly. Now I think back about it, I really can't imagine this movie in color, the same as Citizen Kane or Schindler's List.

I'm going to see it tonight.

I loved it. The reason that they used black and white is because they wanted to use the actual footage of McCarthy, and if the rest of the film was in color, it would have been too weird to go to the B&W of McCarthy.

I loved Jarhead... but I had read and loved the book before I saw the movie, so I probably had a different view in mind when I went to see it.

No... It was one of those ones where I wouldn't have minded seeing it, but just couldn't make it a priority to actually see...

I don't think he's a bad actor. I think he chooses not to act on most of the films he does and I think that he has quite a knack to choose crap films. But when he does choose to act in good films, he does a fine job.

I find it noteworthy that the first two people of this thread have avatars of small dogs in food casings.

I don't know, it just kind of is... I've worked there since I was 14, I'm good at it, it pays better than most.
