Haha, same. I'm new around hear, but have noticed it. I just copy and paste what is being said into the explorer bar in Firefox, and read it that way. ;)

Great idea - I'm gunna have to talk to one of my Canadian friends. ;)

I've got like 50 of those in a wallet somewhere. Leftovers from the Avalanche-era street tream. ;)

Just wanted to point out, as they seemed to get swamped in the Massey Hall pre-order, that there's some new t-shirts and accessories up on the MapleMusic store. ;)
-
Any reason why they couldn't just play the clean edit? ;)
-
What condition is it in?
-
Sure it's preferable, but when I live on the other side of the world, a 'generic' autograph is still more than good enough for me! ;) And I'm just thinking - there's a small group of people who were able to pre-order what were supposedly unsigned copies of the album between the original 200, and the additional 100 signed copies being available? So why is Maple Music taking more than a couple of days to put the regular version up for presale? Or is that it until November 4th?

I Can't Listen To The Album Version Of Con Anymore

NoF?? (damn minimum 8 character limit ;P ) -
Any reason why?

Since he's no doubt been signing memorabilia for well over a decade, I'm sure he wouldn't want to sign anything longer than MG. ;) From the man himself: I

Me too. Yes, it does say signed in the receipt. I would like to hope that for those who ordered a non-signed copy between the 200 signed copies selling out and the extra 100 being added, that you would get a signed copy as well, but probably not. The idea to increase the number of signed copies seems like a very last-minute decision. I'm glad I was able to 'compete' with the Canadians to pre-order a copy. And I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one who didn't get a good sleep last night! ;) Woke up several times, the last being at 4am, to get two copies (one for me, one for my dad). Unsigned copies have just sold out again.

Collector's item for me. Wishing I had bought the avalanche vinyl all those years ago now. ;)
-
Well, they do, it's just not available yet. I'm waiting for someone to go into work and flick a switch. ;)

Already done. I'm now awaiting further details. You're welcome!! ;)

lol, no worries. ;)

Austin - does your download have two-second gaps of silence between each track?
-
The Avalanche vinyl is listed as $29.99 CAD on the MapleMusic store. Of course, it's also out of stock. ;) I'm assuming the price of the Massey Hall vinyl would be similar. Guess we'll know in an hour or so though!
-
I don't think it's available as a pre-order on iTunes. But once the clock clicks over to Octoer 7th for iTunes in your region, it'll be there.
-
I agree with the concept - when I made two MGB mix CDs back in the AoB days, one was for the heavier, rock tracks, and the other was for the slower stuff.
-
Didn't know that was the reason. Thanks for the clarification! ;)
-
Don't worry, you'll get Avalanche. iTunes usually includes one track on full-album releases as album-only, to make sure that you buy the whole thing. Avalanche appears to be the album-only track on all iTunes stores thus-far. May I suggest that people hold off from purchasing the iTunes version for now? Details will come. International prices are as follows (I'll keep this updated): Australia - $20.99 ($16.45 CAD) Japan -
-
Is anyone else noticing two-second audible gaps of silence between each track off iTunes?
-
Just to let all of you outside of Canada know that it's available on respective iTunes stores at local times. i.e. - it's after midnight on the 7th now here in NZ, so it's available on iTunes. ;) The downside - it's not iTunes Plus. Cost is NZD $21.99 (= CAD $15.46). Label is given as Cobraside - see attached.
