So that is the song? The sound quality doesn't bother me... I listen to MG bootlegs and whatever like crazy. I'm not usually one to make fun of music but it's just... off key, out of tune guitar... wow. I could make a whole album of that if you like. ;)
-
Did I download the wrong song or something because that's the worst singing/guitar I've ever heard in my life.
-
I'm only going to have these up for roughly 24 hours as I don't want my bandwidth raped. So save 'em while you can: Podcast 1 Podcast 2
-
It appears the podcasts are gone, or am I just blind? Anyway, I saved both if anyone wants them.
-
You might want to give your album another spin then because the line is absolutely "In the wilderness, the only place to find freedom is in the dictionary, under F. Men in holes, men in caves..." etc

Fuck you. Guess what, you're on a Matt Good message board dedicated to... that's right, MATT GOOD! Some people actually do care about him regardless of knowing him personally or not. If Matt came down with some horrible disease should we all "get fucking lives" because we'd be concerned about it? This is no different. Most people don't want to know because they're nosy gossipy assholes, they want to know because they care. There's a big difference.

I've only listened to it once, but this sounds kind of close: Standard tuning, capo first fret. C B Am G

I love that bootleg, hilarious. The Winnipeg show during that tour was just as bad, he had to stop 3 or 4 times in the middle of songs to tell people to fuck off. Plus the rope. Oh god the rope.

Wow, you must have been sitting right beside me. Or two seats over or so. Neato. Here's a video I took of Can't Get Shot... too bad I didn't know that my camera only takes 3 minute videos, so it's in two parts with a bit of a gap. Sucks, I know. Right click, save as: http://greedyemu.com/images/mg/mg-winnipeg-mar27a.avi http://greedyemu.com/images/mg/mg-winnipeg-mar27b.avi

Monday's Winnipeg show was amazing... Out of the 6 or so times I've seen Matt play, this was definately the best ever. The stuff about the letter was just hilarious, I've never seen him make a crowd laugh so hard. It was brilliant. I also loved how he was taking random requests from the audience. Someone yells out "I The Throw Away!!", he tries playing it and five notes later is like "Uh... what chord comes next?". "Play Anti-Pop!!". His response, "For that I pretty much just puke on the stage." So funny. EDIT: Also, seven song encore! Here's some pics. Most didn't turn out well. MG's bus.

Just walked in with it. No one cared, even had to show it to them to get through the metal detector. Just got back from the second show, and apparently the stuff about Matt "having enough" yesterday was complete bullshit from the security guards, Matt had never said anything. So I got to meet him and got my autograph, my life is probably complete now.
-
Of signing things, I guess. I don't know. We all went outside to his bus right after the show, and after a while were told by security that it's probably a better idea to wait inside because they don't think he's coming to the bus right away, which was nice of them actually. So I went inside, met the rest of the band, after a while we heard Matt was back at the bus so we all run out there and are stopped by security 10 feet from him and are just told "he's had enough". I dunno, just kind of put a damper on the evening since I waited around so long to meet him, and get the fourth and final autograph on my IAC cd. I can't believe how nice Pat is though. Such a cool guy. Same with Christian. We had a nice chat about banjos, haha.

Good show. Not the best I've seen. Started off amazing though. Became kind of mellow with all the slow songs. Got to meet the band though and got autographs, which was awesome! Well, all except for Matt who had "had enough". ;) I also learnt that being right in front of a subwoofer really doesn't help your digital camera.

Very cool song, sounds like it'll be fun to play on guitar as well.
-
Ehhh, not that retarded. That's what the term bside used to mean. And it is quite possible to have a cd with both sides playable.
-
If Rich is the one responsible for all the bass lines with the notes G F# E, in that order, then I'm glad he's gone.
-
I think he's answered that question before and said it was a painting or something. I may be wrong though.
-
The vast majority of tabs on the mgtabarchive are wrong. So wrong it hurts. The Alert Status Red tab gave me quite a good laugh.

She seems pretty slutty.

Matt posted pictures on his blog of the band receiving their gold records for WLRRR a while back... so, uh, yeah I'm assuming it went gold.

She sure is obsessed with posting pictures of herself.
