Personally, when I listen to it/read the lyrics, I get the impression it's about drugs, likely cocaine/heroin. It sounds like it is written from the perspective of someone who is slowly losing his grip on reality and watching those around him become distant and strange. Suicide or surgery would make sense. Or cancer. If it was written from the perspective of someone dying of cancer, it would work too, I suppose. That's what I thought, anyway. And as for the "remix", I've heard it. I used to have it but it's on my old computer that someone stole. I always just thought it was the way he did the song... the call isn't actually in the middle of the song, as if it was added in, it plays over most of the second verse and then I think the opening of the second run through the chorus. I heard it before I heard the album version of Tripoli and just assumed it was like the cropped version of Appartions... just a different version sent to radio or leaked or whatnot. It's been a while, but I wouldn't mind hearing it again. I don't remember it being better then the regular one, though, but it's around.

Yeah, he spends like half of Rico trying to deny that it ever happened. It's great... I think the commentaries are probably the best part of the package.

I know a guy who did a cover of Fated, and while I liked it, I don't think he was happy with the quality of it/would want it released anywhere. I've yet to listen to any of these covers but according to allmusic/coversnake a few indy bands have done some MGB covers. I've yet to hear any of those either.

I actually prefer the one on In A Coma. It just sounds more professional.

Amen to both. Checking out the picture he posted it looks like Matt has gained some weight. That's probably for the best since he has at times reminded me of a dark shirted Scott Weiland. And he does seem to be in better spirits. Now keep him that way, internet fanbase.

Just FYI, their education will also teach them english, which will help them to fit in with the American occup... companies that will set up shop in the region. While it's debatable whether sweatshops develop a region, there really isn't much else in the Sudan. While I like Bakula and agree it is better then Voyager, it still sucked massive amounts of ass.

Enterprise was doomed from the start; they took the crew and producers from the infinitely inferior Voyager rather then DS9, consistently screwed up ST history, and did way too much of the show based on time travel, whereas in the past it was limited to two part episodes for the most part. Everything about it was lame. Not sad to see it go.
