I went to see Keane last night and The Zutons were one of the opening bands. They were pretty good, totally crazy and fucking hilarious. The girl playing the sax was cracking us up. Have you ever heard of them before, give me some info.

That's...bad. Make them stop. Now.

I don't think that is a fair comparison. They are both good bands, in different ways. Vertical Horizon kinda sucks though, in my humble opinion. -

Well, each to his own. I just love their sound and the way he plays the guitar with a violin bow, it looks so cool, Plus Jonsi has the best voice, and he's the cutest little gay man ever, next to Rufus of course. -
Well, ultimately, I am lazy. Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, and Danny Elfman are like this!

Look it up at IMDb, however, their info is wrong and it is called Inside I'm Dancing, as is the website, I think. I hate when they leave the working title up.

I just started Disco Bloodbath. It's quite hilarious, moreso than the movie.

I'm completely addicted to this show. I really need to get the Season 1 DVD to see the episodes I missed. And after yesterday's episode I really hope the theory about Ben and Sophie being bro & sis are wrong.

I've been listening to them for a good 3 and a half years now, and when I heard Staraflur in The Life Aquatic I was so happy. If that whole movie had sucked(which it DID NOT) that would have saved it. I'm glad they are finally getting some attention over here.

I fucking love BTE. I've seen them like 5 times, and they are always hilarious live. They've got a greatest hits sort of thing coming out soon, if you're interested. -
Corpse Bride looks really good. I just love JD and TB. And I could never forget DE.
-
I'm not surprised, but I suggest you look for it.

fucking hilarious

Where were all these "jumpy" moments everyone is talking about? True, it was lame and predictable, but I felt compelled to watch it through to the end. The alternate ending was much worse than the theatrical ending.

I just saw this a few days ago at a free screening. When I went I didn't know what to expect, but this movie totally blew me away. James McAvoy does a magnificent job as Rory. You should definitley go see this if you have the chance. Not being able to understand Micheal throughout the movie might start to annoy you, but it's worth it. I haven't laughed so hard in a theatre since Shaun of the Dead.

What about The Terminator? I have huge problems with these movies. 2 & 3 killed it. Cameron should have left it at 1.

Ahh, watching movie trailers, yes. For me, that was the best part of going to the movies as a kid. To see the trailers. Fortunately, I now get to make movie trailers. None you would have seen, unfortunately. Still working my way up.

Although Part 3 killed it, I totally have to go with The Godfather. Although, the child in me is saying Back to the Future.

OH! I missed it when it was here. My friend told me it was amazing, though. I can't wait for the DVD, which I've already ordered.

This was a beautiful film. I saw it way back in April or May with a friend of mine at a special screening and when it came to our theatre we saw it again, and again with more friends. As for those that called the plot "thin" well many indie films are like that. They require a suspension of disbelief. The fact that Garden State was so commercially successful is impressive.

The best movie about drugs: 24 Hour Party People. More about Factory Records and music, but there are drugs. The best movie to watch while on drugs: I'd have to go with The Wall, also. Or possibly the Animation Show.

Well, I've been waiting for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for like 2 years now, and Sin City looks really awesome. Some others I can't wait to see are The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay(if production ever gets going it might be out within the next five years), Alpha Dog, Tha Ballad of Jack and Rose(nothing to do with Titanic), Bickford Shmeckler's Cool Ideas, Brick, Bukowski:Born Into This(which technically came out last year, but I still haven't seen it), The Chumscrubber, Dot, the Dying Gaul, Empire Falls, Happy Endings, Heights, The Jacket, Undertow, The Upside of Anger, What Is It?, Winter Solstice, Runaway, The Rum Diary, On a Clear Day, Paint, P.S., Thumbsucker, Pretty Persuasion, Reefer Madness(a musical version of the infamous propaganda film of the 30s), Proof, Junebug, Loggerheads, Lonesome Jim, MirrorMask, The Fuck Up(to be renamed The Screw Up), Mitchellville, The Mudge Boy, Live Free or Die, The Machinist, A Sound of Thunder, The Squid and The Whale, Standing Still, Steal Me, Swimmers, This revolution, Loverboy, just to name a few from my list of upcoming and recent films I must see. I'm a junkie, always looking for my next fix.
