  1. Here's my ultimate 2-3 hour set-list for an Acoustic show: Fearless She's Got a New Disguise Apparitions Prime Time Deliverence Change of Season Strange Days Running for Home Suburbia Born to Kill The Fine Art of Falling Apart Sort of a Protest Song I, the Throw Away Weapon Avalanche Near Fantastica Empty Road Blue Skies Over Bad Lands Will it ever happen? Maybe on a cold day in hell. Why? Because, regardless of the fan base here, there's definitely not enough hardcore MG fans in North America that could pack a joint to the point where it becomes profitable for him to do a concert like this. It sucks, but it's the truth.
  2. It shocked me when I heard it too but that's because I thought it was crap. It remains my least favorite MG song to this very day. Different strokes for different folks! ;) It's hard to say what demo I like most. Euphony has the biggest collection of songs that I like but there's some amazing songs on all the albums.
  3. One of his best is definitely Blue Skies Over Bad Lands. I love to just lay back and sing along.
  4. Heh, neato. One of my friends was a PA for that show and eventually worked his way into their lighting crew. Now he's on to something else. It's a Canadian show shot in Toronto. I'll have to try watching it next Sunday (just for the credits as I'm not much of a TV watcher).
  5. uh... ahem... *cough* pssssst... forward me that email please. thanks. *cough cough*
  6. Obviously it's a hard choice since I love aspects of all the records, but my vote went towards Avalanche today. That's just the type of mood I am in. Tomorrow my vote might be different ;).
  7. Right here of course... He typed it in an online forum, therefore it must be true.
  8. I imagine a testicular ultrasound is when they slather cool jelly on your balls and prod and carress it with a cold metal probe that scans for cists, tumors, strains, etc. If it's precautionary and pre-emptive, that's a good thing. At his age (30's) males fall into the category when testicular, colon, and prostate cancer are definite concerns and should be checked out for prevention. Honestly, if some cute nurse was doing that to my boys, my biggest fear would be popping a hard-on.
  9. I'm sorry... my selfishness knows no bounds ;)
  10. How is the purpose behind this concert any different than earlier awareness concerts such as the Tibet ones hosted by the Beastie Boys? Just because awareness and donation are accompanied by good PR and having the bands feel as though they've contributed something special to this tragedy doesn't discount the fact that the concert IS indeed raising awareness and relief efforts. How about we put that spin on the many national contributions. Many countries were giving what they thought they could afford and many others might have been stingy. The fact that many countries were battling it out for top lump-sum and per capita donations does not matter a lick when compared to the millions of people the money will affect in a positive way. Do you think the victims and families of victims of the tsunami are asking where the money came from and sneering at the one country because they only contributed $5.00 per capita while another country contributed $40.00 per capita? Sorry, but I don't think so. Regardless of the egos attached to a donation, in the end, it's still a donation that is going to help save lives and hopefully put in place countermeasures for future disasters. Honestly, I'm a bit disheartened that Matt has a contradicting opinion on this matter considering he's quite a humanitarian.
  11. To ask him about recording equipment. He told me he uses Apple and Digitech stuff. Today he posted on his blog that he'll be removing (and probably changing) his email address from matthewgood.org. I hope I didn't cause a ruckus because that'd make me a sad panda. That is all.
  12. I don't think so... It's true because I heard it on the Internet.
