  1. Shouldn't you be looking for Judas Priest tabs with an axe like that?
  2. Who gives a shit, she's fucking hot. And not to entirely take her side on any type of argument but how the fuck do you know? Because of her blog? You have never met her, you are basing that belief on what she posts on an online blog. If we are comparing, your internet personna is far less intelligent than hers. By far.
  3. Yeah, that's because we all know that the next four years will be exactly like last year repeated over and over.
  4. She is definitely smokin' ;)
  5. First of all, this isn't a "blog". Second, why post in a thread that no one has replied to in about a week only to complain that it should be moved to another forum. Obviously everyone here has said their piece on the subject so just let it die.
  6. First off, 500,000 really isn't a whole lot by todays standards. Second, LOTGA sold more than 500,000 and it was produced independently. I'm an American and I would say that the Matthew Good Band were pretty fucking popular/successful in their short run. Anyone who says otherwise is a moron.
  7. Why? No one would buy that shit when you can get it for free at Chad's site: Disorientation
  8. Is this really your dream car? What are you, a middle-aged woman with 2 kids? If you want a Toyota so bad why not get a Camery, it is much more sporty though still a sedan.
  9. Cars aren't expensive if you have a job. I have a 2000 Mazda 626 and I pay $230/mo. and also pay $110/mo. for full coverage. (all funds US). I take care of my baby and she's in tip-top condition and I just hit 40,000 miles yesterday. I'd post a pic but I have no camera and couldn't find a good pic on Google.
  10. How could you not know what rockabilly is? My friends have formed a rockabilly/ska band. Their new album is called 'Hillbilly Ska'.
  11. Which one? the independent film or the newer "teen-comedy" one. The former was far too boring the latter was terrible. It was essentially a bunch of funny scenes strung together.
  12. I find this question to be retarded. Of course the Bible should not be taken literally. Nor should any other book. Nor should anything labelled as "fact". Let's face it, truth is relative. As long as humans are involved baises will exist. The original editors of the Bible, though they had good intentions on keeping the information truthful, were of course influenced by their own, personal, beliefs. The same can be said of any "non-fiction" document.
  13. a. The electoral college is a select group of people, I believe the number is the same as the number of representatives(as in the House of Representatives). Therefore, by you're definition only 250 or so Americans actually vote. b. if you think the whole representation issue actually played any role in America's independence, other than mere propaganda to gain support of the masses (much like the whole wmd's in Iraq) then I suggest you actually learn American history before you go quoting it.
  14. The movie was terrible. Absolutly terrible.
  15. Some people are also wrong. No deal.
  16. Jam knows the score. This is like the third time little shits on this board show their ignorance and fail to realize true greatness. Since when is Depeche Mode lame? In another thread some fucker was trying to bag on Queen. Here's a tip, learn what good music is.

    Demo Help

Us old farts got it when it was hosted on RFH oh so many years ago. Sucker. *goes and listens to "The Bombmaker"*
  18. Jesus, fix your grammer. I have no clue what you are trying to say.
  19. I'm still confused here. Why is this such a big deal? What is/has Matt gone throught that most musicians or artists in general (incluing actors) haven't? I understand that most of you, as his fans, would defend him but I'm curious as to why you look upon those who disagree with his opinions as some sort of heathens yet are more than willing to dish out equally harsh sentiments about Britney Spears or Ashlee Simpson. Guess what, as an artist, you will find that some people like your work and others don't. If he has a problem with a handful of people on a message board "dismissing his work as shit" then he is right to pack up and run because he will obviously not make it once he steps outside his front door. I also applaud Matt for having the balls to stand up for what he believes and is upfront with his political stance. But by doing so, you set yourself up to have your beliefs attacked no matter who or where you are. Matt had to expect flak by posting a blog with nothing but his political agenda all over it. I'm sure a lot of fans were interested in his music and decided to check out his site and find it littered with his left-wing slant of the world and could have been put off or, in some cases, willing to create a serious discussion (not an attack) as to why he believed what he believed. But whatever, you can go back to the one-sided discussion about sympathy for old Mr. Good.
  20. Yeah, you are an asskisser. The arguments presented were very clear and spot on. Matt threw a hissy-fit plain and simple. I don't disagree that he undeservingly receives shit e-mail and things of the like but what happened with him on that board was childish on his part. What do you think message boards are for? If you want to have a convo. use a chat/messenger program. Message boards are the perfect place to maintain intelligent debates, allowing both parties time to gather facts and refute the arugments of a previous post.
  21. Agreed, Dancing Invisible is a beautiful song. I think several songs benefit from the demo sound quality, it gives them a more intimate sound and not a polished studio sound.
